Exciting projects

There is not one reason for a career at R&A. There are an incredible number.

Starting at R&A accelerates your career. As a Consultant with R&A, you soon come along “on projects” and experience project work live on-site. We will be happy to tell you more about us and how we work in a personal interview.

What our employees say.

  • Varied responsibilities and early client contact
  • Support from colleagues
  • Promotion of strategic mindsets and behavioural standards at a management level
  • High level of creative freedom

“Varied responsibilities with a steep learning curve – that was what I wanted from the job before starting as a Junior Consultant at R&A. I got both as early as the end of my first month, when I was deployed directly at a client’s premises. At first, I was accompanied and had “backup” from an experienced Consultant; from the 3rd month on, I was on my own on-site. My work meant taking direct responsibility for the client, while also representing R&A’s values and standards. During my deployments I not only quickly picked up technical expertise, I also gained valuable experience in dealing with clients professionally. As R&A is relatively small, which means that you work closely with the Managing Directors, you soon come into contact with the client’s management. You can learn many useful things, especially when it comes to a strategic mindset and the standards for conduct at a management level. All in all, R&A offers me a high level of creative freedom, without feeling like I have been left to my own devices. Both the Managing Directors and all of my consulting colleagues help me out with advice and assistance if my own expertise is not enough. Individual development opportunities and exciting project work – R&A offers both in spades. Joining R&A has paid off.”

Simon Flötotto, Junior Consultant

  • Taking on responsibility early in a career
  • Opportunities for rapid advancement
  • Active support from team members and Managing Directors
  • “I was soon given personal responsibility at RADTKE & ASSOCIATES.”

After just six months as a Junior Consultant, I was promoted to Consultant and entrusted to produce a business management training course. The project allowed me to grow within the company by developing the training course independently and communicating on the project with the client’s Controlling department and R&A’s Managing Directors. Even though I had already worked on projects in the client’s company, it was a challenge to analyse the specific aspects of the company for the training course, to create a training concept tailored individually for the client. In spite of all of the responsibility you are given at an early stage, you are never left on your own at R&A. I received active support from the Managing Directors and a Senior Consultant in all key areas. I can look back on a successful project and I am already looking forward to taking on responsibility for other exciting projects in the future.”

Jasmin Bertsch, Consultant

  • Leading projects and sub-projects
  • Direct responsibility for ensuring quality results for clients
  • Challenges from varied tasks and subjects

“As manager of a sub-project for an MDax corporation, I was given an opportunity to actively support full restructuring of the operative organisation from the concept and implementation, right up to the organisational go-live in just my second year as an R&A Consultant. The project spans the entire range from structural organisation, process optimisation and IT, right up to worker participation and communication, giving me a detailed insight into corporate structures and workflows. I was given responsibility for sub-projects in processes and IT, as well as parts of the change process, and worked independently, together with the stakeholders on the company side. A major challenge in this was to develop optimal solutions for the problems in different areas that were new to me, and to convince the employees and management that these results and recommendations were the right thing to do. In my personal and professional development, I benefited in particular from the close cooperation with the internal project management team, employees and managers, which also included presenting results in steering committees with the executive board. The experience I gained through the varied tasks helps me deliver real added value to our clients when working independently on new projects.”

Tobias Schmidt, Senior Consultant

  • Active integration in everyday consulting work
  • Practical tasks from current project business
  • Working directly in the team and with the Managing Directors

“After completing the 4th semester of my business studies degree, I wanted to use my holidays for a sneak peek into the consulting sector and to learn as much as possible. My internship at RADTKE & ASSOCIATES gave me just that. In my first few weeks there, I was already given responsibility for preparing a workshop, which allowed me to learn different approaches and methods Consultants use in their day-to-day work. After two weeks I was allowed to participate actively in meetings and learn what matters when it comes to client contact. In the weeks that followed, my tasks became increasingly varied, so that I learned something new every day. Working directly with the Managing Directors and the helpfulness in the team made my two-month internship even more valuable.”
